Halloween is celebrated in most countries in the world whether christian country or not. It is usually celebrated on the eve of October 31, night before the All Saint's Day. Halloween started way back in 500 BC with a certain ancient religion of the Celtic Tribe in Europe. During those days, Halloween was celebrated through lots of ancient rituals according to their beliefs.

Thailand is a Buddhist country but it is so much influenced by the Christian traditions because there are a number of foreigners bringing in their cultures to Thailand and Thai people embraces those cultures and happily adapted it.

Today, Halloween Festival is a fun festival especially for kids. People can dress up like ghosts, monsters and witches. They can also wear masks and put on make ups to mimic evil appearance. The most highlighted activity in this festival is the "Trick and Treat" where people would go house to house in a village, knock the door and trick the kids with their costumes and plays, then they would give something to the kids like sweets, apples, chocolates and jelly ace.

Some other notable activities are costume party, bonfire, creating haunted houses to visit, and viewing horror movies.
