The Teaching Career: Then And Now

Teaching is known to be a noble profession. It's all about reaching out to everybody's heart and mind. Teaching is inculcating facts to the minds of the people. Teaching is influencing.

When did this career start? Teaching started as early as the time when Jesus Christ came to this earth to teach good news to the people. He bacame the Earth's Greatest Teacher. During His times, there was no formal education, it means teaching tool place anywhere as long as there is a comfortable shade from the sun of the sun. Sometimes behind huge trees and stones.

Parents also are considered as informal educators because they do teach their kids at home with good manners and characters to prepare them for the formal education in schools.

Later, teachers are becoming more and more in number. And formal education in schools are then in rampant. Formal education then becomes a must to everybody around the globe.

In some countries, teaching is a "well respected profession". But in others, it is considered as one of the poorest, considering medical professions, engineering and business are those the one on top. In this places, people in the "higher rank" shall we say, look down on to "teachers" because they are "only teachers".

But the truth nowadays is revealed. According to statistics, many medical professionals including nurses, PT's, pharmacists and physicians are now teaching. More of those in the field of business are now teaching too. It is obvious that they need to take education units for them to be a qualified teacher. The demand for teachers all around the world is growing, and this is why teaching is now considered as the "TOP PROFESSION".

Going to a Glowing Growth

Go foods are foods that keeps us going. They are energy-giving foods, meaning, they give us energy to move and to do the things we want to do. Go foods are foods rich in carbohydrates. Carbohydrates is the main source of our body's energy. These foods are found at the bottom of the Food Pyramid. We need to eat more of these foods in a day to supply our body with the energy we need for our daily activities. Foods like bread, rice, potato, cereals, noodles, biscuits, cookies and etc. are examples of GO FOODS.

2. GLOW FOODS

Glow foods are those foods that gives us vitamins and minerals. These foods give us the pretty looks like smooth skin, shiny hair, and cute face. Glow foods also keep us away from illness. They make our immune system strong enough to fight against diseases. Fruits and vegetables are foods rich in vitamins and minerals.

3. GROW FOODS

Grow foods are rich in protein which we can usually get from meat and meat substitute. Nuts and beans are examples of meat substitute. They are also considered as reliable sources of protein. Having a balanced diet is very important for us to be healthy. Many people think that they are having healthy diet everyday but if we are going to check our diet, they failed to follow the standard of a balanced diet.
